Because the artwork and discussions may include mature or sensitive content, participants under the age of 18 must either be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have explicit guardian permission to attend. If any participant—adult or underage—prefers to avoid potentially triggering content, we are happy to accommodate by scheduling their presentation earlier in the session to allow for a timely and respectful departure.

In this meet-and-greet with Kate Tova, learn about her enveloping exhibition A Place to Rest (My Tired Mind). Kate will lead a brief tour of the gallery sharing about her inspirations and artistic journey. Questions are encouraged, and attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy tea in the lobby with the artist following the program.

Nonmember: $25

This is a small little beach where you can paint waves, palm trees, lifeguard towers, the cute local cafe, or the inlet. Parking is easy and restrooms are convenient.

Celebrate OMA’s Artist Alliance exhibition at Front Porch Gallery, More than Words!

Enjoy refreshments and creative conversations as you mingle with artists and art lovers.

Front Porch Gallery is located in Carlsbad Village at:

2903 Carlsbad Blvd, Carlsbad, CA 92008

Selected by gallery programs director Andrea Woolley, many of the works represent the artists’ interpretation of the title: artwork that depicts the written word in any alphabet or language, including musical notes. Artwork may be accompanied by a short story, song, or poem.

It’s just beautiful all along the Guajome Lake shore with water fowl, children, and lovely water vistas. Parking is $5 (bring ones) and restrooms are available.
