ART AND WELLNESS
At Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA), art and wellness coincide every day.
We not only bring people together to explore the art and stories of Southern California artists, OMA also creates space for connection, reflection, and renewal. Art has the power to help us slow down, see things differently, and feel more connected to ourselves and each other. Through our impactful exhibitions, programming, and events, OMA visitors can engage with creativity in ways that inspire, uplift, and recharge us, offering moments of respite within a community transformed by the power of art.
Kate Tova Exhibition
Exploring emotional and physical burnout and what it means to truly rest, the Kate Tova: A Place to Rest (My Tired Mind) exhibition features works inspired by the power of nature, and the ever-flowing state of the universe. Presented with generous support from Tri City Medical Center. On view now through September 27, 2026.

Wellness Workshops
Discover a joyful, creative approach to personal growth through nurturing art journaling series. Designed to make the inner work of self-development feel lighter, sweeter, and more accessible, this program blends meditation, creative expression, and meaningful reflection.
Social Rx Partnership
We’re proud to create experiences that spark creativity and wellbeing, including our partnership with Social Rx to deliver arts-based “social prescriptions” to patients of San Ysidro Health Network in San Diego County.
