Spring Program Changes

PROGRAM CHANGES

Dear OMA friends,

OMA has made the decision to cancel or postpone events and public programs through the first week in April (please see sidebar for the list of affected programs and events). The museum will remain open during regular hours so that members and visitors can continue to experience art—something that may be even more important now as a source of solace and comfort. Social distancing of six feet from one another can be maintained while still having a connection to what brings us all together.

As with many other cultural organizations in the region, OMA is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it evolves. Staff are continuing to take extra steps to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the building including high-touch areas. California is still at low risk for non risk individuals. Those at higher risk should limit their exposure. Visitors are encouraged to use best practices for hand washing and sanitizing. Use tissues and wash your hands after sneezing. If you or a family member does not feel well, kindly refrain from visiting the museum during this time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as OMA staff works on rescheduling details. Individual notices will be sent to pre-registered attendees with information about refunds, credits, and the option of converting those funds toward a donation or membership to OMA. Scroll down to let us know your preference with the short form.

The arts play a vital role in our lives and in times like these, support is even more critical. Please consider making a forward-looking gift to help sustain the museum during this unsettling time. Click here to contribute any amount. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Maria Mingalone
Executive Director
