OMA Online Account FAQs


Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) uses Altru as the system to manage online transactions for things like ticket sales, class registrations, memberships, and donations. While this has made operations behind the scenes run more smoothly, we understand it can be unfamiliar and present some challenges for users. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions. How do I register for an OMA Online account?

As a member, you will need to register with OMA’s online system. You can register your account here. Your username needs to be the email connected with your OMA membership. If you are not yet an OMA member, use the email to which you will want to receive your enrollment confirmations and program links. Next, select a secure and unique password and be sure not to share it with others.

How do I apply my membership discount?

As a member, you will need to sign in to your account to be able to apply your membership discount. Once you are on the program page, click on “Sign In” in the upper black box to enter your email and self-selected password. If you have not already registered with OMA’s online system, you will need to do that first (see above).

When do I get my membership discount?

After you have signed in to your account (see above), our system will recognize you as an OMA member. Member discounts will be calculated and applied at the end of the transaction when you are ready to checkout.

How do I know if I successfully signed up for a program?

You will receive an email confirmation shortly after completing the checkout process. If the confirmation does not arrive within a few minutes after signing up for the program, we ask that you please check your spam/junk folder.

What if I don’t receive my confirmation?

Search for an email from Oceanside Museum Art. It might be in a spam or junk folder.

When do I get my link for a virtual program?

Links to join virtual programs will be included in their respective confirmation emails (see above). They will also be sent out via reminder emails closer to the program start date.
