It's back! Part party, part runway show, part epic costume contest,
ART AFTER DARK returns October 24, 2026.
OMA’s signature after hours event, ART AFTER DARK transforms the museum into a creative hub full of awe-inspiring wearable art costumes, live music, inspired spooky good libations, and the largest costume contest in the area. It’s the one-of-a-kind ‘art party’ of the year. This year's event is inspired by our exhibition, David Adey: Sacrificial Bodies.

Get your tickets, and start planning your wearable art costume 'cause at ART AFTER DARK, YOU are the Art!
Come walk the runway, show off your creativity and enter to compete for amazing prizes at OMA's annual costume competition where a panel of renowned judges will select top prize winners. All are welcome to join in this friendly and fun costume competition!
Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
ART AFTER DARK is a 21+ event.

COSTUME CONTEST
At ART AFTER DARK, costumes are encouraged, not required. But for those of you who love to get glam, all ticket holders are invited to strut their stuff on the runway and compete for exciting CASH PRIZES in the ART AFTER DARK costume contest!
Got your ART AFTER DARK tickets? Then you can officially enter the Costume Contest and compete to win! All ticket holders are eligible.
