Artist Alliance is an affiliate group of membership available to OMA members at any level for an additional fee of $20 per year per person. Current OMA members who add Artist Alliance to their existing membership level will continue to be current members until their existing expiration date. Annual renewals will include the membership level plus the Artist Alliance fee. Membership in Artist Alliance provides opportunities for interaction, visibility, and growth for artists in the region.

Artist Alliance members are featured in an online registry that can be linked to their artist website. If you have an artist website, Instagram page, or Facebook page you would like added to the registry please contact Katie Dolgov at katie@oma-online.org with the URL.

Juried Critique, December 9

Submissions Closed, Selections Announced November 13

Register here to attend the program on December 9, 6:00-9:00pm. Art lovers and artists curious about the process of a professional critique are encouraged to attend the session for free as observers. The critique will be followed by a moderated audience Q&A session. Audience members will learn just as much from the feedback given by the professional jurors as those who were selected for the critique. Featured artists: Silvana Barrios, Denise Brook, Neil Brooks, Theo DeHart, Elizabeth Gorcey, Elizabeth Janss, Steven Lombardi, Linda Morton, Denise Rudy, and Larry Vogel.

Elemental: Artist Alliance at Sparks Gallery

Exhibition On View: May 2–July 6, 2025

This exhibition is not strictly themed, but artists are encouraged to submit work that represents your interpretation of the title, Elemental, an exhibition to take place at Sparks Gallery in downtown San Diego. Submit abstract or figurative work that explores the vibrancy and vitality of the core elements—earth, air, fire, and water—that shape the world around us. Artwork will be juried and the exhibition layout designed solely by Sonya Sparks, gallery owner and curator.
