We’ve been asked to stay home, but we don’t have to be alone. Join Artist Alliance for a cup of coffee and enjoy some conversation with fellow artists. Sculptors, painters, photographers, artists of all disciplines are welcome.

  2. Save your file as “CNC artwork_[YOUR NAME]”

With the Plein Air Paint Out on hold for the time being, everyone can continue painting with the Plein Air Paint In! Open to artists at any level—paint the world through your window, in your backyard, or from your studio during the event’s usual time. Afterward, join OMA’s Artist Alliance with a rejuvenating drink of your choice for virtual Coffee and Conversation to share your work.

Art Apart Workshop: Community Expressions

Join Carlsbad-based artist Bryan Snyder for an interactive art-making experience that highlights faces of the community. Whether you choose to honor a friend or a family member, or even yourself as the subject, enjoy the full process of building a mixed media portrait with easy-to-find supplies and an abundance of creativity. As an artist with a unique social practice, Snyder will share the process of taking his art to the streets as a means to celebrate community. Registration is required and space is limited.

There is a special joy in receiving a hand-written message in the age of digital communication. Join local artist Griselda Rosas via Zoom for a virtual Art Apart workshop to go a step further and create handmade postcards so that you can spread the warmth of connection from afar. With a few supplies that can be easily found at home, you’ll soon be making art from the heart and creating connections (scroll down below the registration link for the list of supplies).
