David Fobes: PEER

DAVID FOBES: PEER

February 1, 2015-December, 2016

In Grand Stairwell

PEER is a site-specific installation, created from colored duct tape for the grand stairwell in OMA. Incorporating the continually changing point of view of the large stairwell, the installation challenges the beholder’s perception and reconciliation of a two-dimensional construct in three-dimensional space.

David Fobes is an artist whose work emerges from the intersection of art, design and craft. Fobes has lived and worked in San Diego since 1978 and has been a lecturer in the School of Art and Design at SDSU for 20 years.
