Jeanette Bonds: 14.7 PSI

JEANETTE BONDS: 14.7 PSI

June 30–August 26, 2012

In Parker Gallery

Inspired by a near death drowning experience, Jeanette Bonds’ 14.7 PSI, is an animation installation of what appears to be an underwater or stellar environment. The piece attempts to create a specific and 14.7 PSI orchestrated physical response from the viewer by linearly recreating the thought process of drowning or being lost in an entirely unfamiliar yet intriguing environment. Sound by Duane Pitre.
