FABULOUS FIBER
July 26–November 2, 2025
Curated By Kate Stern
FABULOUS FIBER is a dazzling celebration of textile artistry, where tradition meets innovation in a vibrant display of texture, color, and creativity. This immersive exhibition brings together contemporary works crafted with both time-honored and cutting-edge techniques, from quilting and tufting to felting, embroidery, weaving, beading, crochet, basketry, and beyond. Each piece breathes new life into fiber art, transforming familiar crafts into bold, modern expressions.
Rich in scope and dimension, these works invite viewers to step into a world where every stitch tells a story. In a time when so many of our daily experiences involve interacting with the smooth screens of electronics, these dynamic forms offer a refreshing allure—engaging both creators and viewers with rich and tangible materials. This exhibition stands as both a counterpoint to our digital world and a profound extension of contemporary sensory experience.
Whether through intricate hand-stitched details or dramatic sculptural forms, FABULOUS FIBER highlights the boundless possibilities of this beloved medium. Engaging, approachable, and endlessly inspiring, this exhibition is a testament to the enduring power of fiber arts to captivate, connect, and spark imagination.
