Artist Alliance Quarterly Exchange

Bring unused art materials and swap with fellow Artist Alliance members before the critique session begins. If you have extra art materials that you no longer use but can’t bear to throw away, bring them to OMA for other Artist Alliance members to enjoy. First come first served, any leftover materials will be donated to the museum. Supplies will not be accepted prior to the event. Consider paint, brushes, collage supplies, glue, photo matting, drawing pencils, etc.

During the critique, Artist Alliance members can participate in sharing and critique sessions promoting professional development.  Not a member? No problem, join now or at the event!

Welcome to Colonia Libertad With Artist Omar Pimienta

Part of the unDocumenta exhibition, Welcome to Colonia Libertad is a participatory art piece that emulates the bureaucratic practice of acquiring a passport. Guests will exchange an old voided passport at the Libre Consulate for a new Libre passport, created in situ with a photograph and fingerprints as part of the process. Voided passports become part of the Libre Citizens Archive and will be displayed in future exhibitions.
