Two-Day Workshop: Georgia O’Keeffe Watercolors

Landscapes, cityscapes, the human form and abstract nature images in the style of O’Keeffe will be explored in this hands-on and minds-on workshop with Robin Douglas . Using a loose form and iridescent, glowing colors participants will create original works of art inspired by O’Keeffe. All materials will be supplied.

Surrealism Lecture Part 2
Continuing with the presentation of Surrealism and its artists, Robin Douglas will expand on how the 20th Century movement influenced and continues to influence artists. See the work of the Abstract Expressionists Jackson Pollock and William de Kooning as well as contemporary artists with Surrealist attributes like Anselm Kiefer, Sandy Skoglund, Murakami, and Laura Owens.
