Plein Air Paint Out At Heritage Park
OMA Artist Alliance has created this non-instructed series for artists at any level to enjoy the camaraderie of painting outdoors. Open to artists at any level, each event will be held in a different location. November’s Paint Out features a beloved historic site that includes a collection of Oceanside’s original downtown (20th Century) buildings relocated behind Mission San Luis Rey. Bring all of your outdoor painting gear and meet at the front gate at 9:00am. There’s plenty of free parking. After you check in, you’ll be on your own to explore and choose a favorite scene to paint. Afterward, you’re encouraged to stop by OMA for Coffee and Conversation and an informal show and tell. The museum is free to the public on First Sundays, so there will be an opportunity to talk about your painting with fellow artists, Artist Alliance members, and visitors. Easels and tabletops will be available for your use.
Evening of Distinction
This delightful evening is in appreciation of the generous support of OMA’s highest level donors and donor-level members to thank them for their continued and vital support of the museum. Guests will enjoy an exclusive gallery talk, catered dinner, and drinks. For more information about this event please contact Lani Curtis at development@oma-online.org or (760) 435-3726.
