Two-Day Workshop: Fixing The Image
TUESDAY & THURSDAY, MARCH 16 & 18
Ever since the camera was invented, artists have been compelled to enhance, correct, and augment images of the world around them. Join Robin Douglas for this two-day multi-media exploration to combine and re-contextualize images, both real and imagined, appropriated and applied for your own unique works of art. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Deborah Roberts, Hannah Hoch, Ellen Gallagher, and Lorna Simpson, experiment freely with photographs as well as other sourced materials to make fresh and powerful imagery.
Members will need to sign in to receive their discount at check out.
Limited space is available. Participants must provide their own materials and a recommended supply list will be shared prior to the first workshop session.
Your link to connect online for both days will be sent in the confirmation email after you have completed enrollment. Additional reminder emails will follow a few days before and on the first day of the workshop.
