As part of our Refresh and React series, join Robin Douglas to connect to art on a multi-sensory level by exploring the essential question – what makes a work of art work? Dive deep into the work of artists like Gustav Klimt, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Wassily Kandinsky to dissect the dominant and subdominant parts of their unique compositions to inspire the elements of your own painting working to create one stunning image. All supplies for your original artwork will be provided and artists of all levels are welcome.

Immerse yourself in green leaves and grasses, blue sea water and orangish purple skies to paint your own paradise. As part of our Refresh and React series, join Robin Douglas to invigorate your creative spirit by exploring the expressive drawing techniques perfected in the tradition of Chinese landscape painting. Connect to art making as a meditative practice through marking making with wet and dry techniques, and follow your creativity to create captivating imagery, both expansive and petite. Join Robin Douglas for a two-day workshop to take a fresh look at your work by revisiting the basics and gain a deeper understanding of what holds a work of art together to spellbind the viewer. With a focus on the intersection of creativity and the underlying elements and principles of design, create unique and expressive compositions of still life, landscape and abstraction.
