Event Details

Open to all registered festival artists, this fun, high-energy event brings together both artists and spectators for a two-hour burst of creativity highlighting one of Oceanside’s most iconic outdoor locations, Mission San Luis Rey. With the task of completing a painting in a single sitting, Quick Paint artists are challenged to grab a brush, set up an easel, and paint en plein air for all to see. The finished creation may be purchased off the easel or in a sale at OMA through Saturday, July 22. Judging will take place immediately after the painting concludes. If you would like to have your work considered for the Artist Alliance Quick Paint Awards please plan to stay after the event through the judging.
Only Registered Festival Artists may RSVP. The public is invited to watch artworks come to life. Love what you see? You can purchase paintings straight off the easel! OMA staff will be available to process payments.
