WEARABLE ACCESSORY ARTWORK INFORMATION

Artwork dimensions can be listed as approximate if this artwork has not yet been created. 

Not all submissions will be chosen for inclusion. All finalists will be featured in the live-streamed extravaganza on October 31 and in a pop-up exhibition at OMA November 1–8. Accessories may or may not be included in the live runway portion of the event. All will be offered for sale as part of the fundraiser with the artist receiving 40% of the final selling price.

At least one full-view image of the artwork is required.

Additional views are highly recommended including:
> full-length image of the back of the artwork
> detail image(s) of the artwork

Files up to 2MB in JPG or PDF format can be submitted. Include up to five attachments (photographs, renderings, sketches, or other similar supporting 2D design materials. Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Notification of selection will be sent on September 23.

CONDITIONS

Final acceptance of entries for Art After Dark: Night of the Living Art is up to the selection committee’s discretion after viewing the delivered artwork. If an artwork does not match the appearance of this electronic entry or if the workmanship is not suitable quality for presentation, the artwork will be disqualified and returned at the artist’s expense.

OMA will assume insurance responsibility for the artwork upon receipt and inspection and during the event. OMA is not liable for any claim, loss, theft, or damage of any kind during transportation. OMA will exercise the usual care in handling and will provide coverage for the fair market value of the work or the fair costs of repair. OMA cannot be responsible for minor wear resulting from normal handling and use in the runway portion of the event. Each artist in the event will be required to sign a loan agreement with OMA for loan of the work for the duration of the event.

TIMELINE

Submissions close: Sunday, September 20, 2020 11:59pm Pacific Time (PT)

Final acceptances announced via email: Wednesday, September 23, 2020

Artwork intake: Monday, October 19 from 10:00am-4:00pm and Tuesday, October 20 from 10:00am-4:00pm

Dress rehearsal: Approximately one week prior to the event

Date and time of event: Saturday, October 31, 4:00-10:00pm

Artwork pick-up: Week of November 9–13, 2020

AGREEMENT

We look forward to seeing the amazing artwork you are submitting for consideration in Night of the Living Art: An Art After Dark Fashion Extravaganza however not all submissions will be selected. All artists will be notified on September 23. By submitting artwork for consideration, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
