BECKY GUTTIN: WE CAN WORK IT OUT
October 1, 2011–January 5, 2012
In Lobby
Mexico City born artist Becky Guttin will transform the OMA lobby with a playful installation inspired by memories of her childhood. Working with Mexican cultural symbols such as mythical folk animals, colored tortillas and miniature houses, she investigates the meaning of home, family and identity. This new body of work will also explore her interest in the contradictions of life, and the cultural conflict she struggles with everyday.
