Juried By Wendy Wilson-Gibson
Exhibition Reception January 14, 4:00-7:00pm

OMA's Artist Alliance is thrilled to present 45 artworks in their fourth annual exhibition at Ashton Gallery in North Park San Diego. Selected by juror Wendy Wilson-Gibson, many of the artworks are loosely themed to the title, Healing the Divide, exploring our connections with one another and finding common experiences through creative expression.

Ashton Gallery @ Art on 30th is an integral part of the vibrant North Park Arts and Culture District of San Diego. Established in 2015 by Kate Ashton, the gallery hosts monthly juried exhibitions, in addition to offering art classes, working studio space, and professional development for artists. The gallery represents professional local artists specializing in contemporary art.

Juror Wendy Wilson-Gibson is currently the Director of the Bonita Museum & Cultural Center in South Bay San Diego. Wendy is the past director of the Escondido Municipal Gallery (EAP) as well as serving on the museum board at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. From concept to final product Wendy enjoys curating exhibitions and collaborating with artists, foundations, non-profits, and museums to conceptualize exhibitions and explore visitor experience. As a curator, she has conceptualized, funded, and produced multi-media installations and events exploring contemporary, new media, and theory-based subject matter as well as exhibitions exploring the history of personal collections and the relationships involved in art creation.
