Hand-carved rubber stamps of your own design are a wonderful addition to an artist’s personal toolbox. Create a few designs to be used again and again for journaling, scrapbooking, fabric surface design, and mixed media. Instruction includes developing images and understanding how they will translate as a stamp followed by carving the designs into small reusable printmaking blocks.

Students MUST bring:

• two 4x6 rubber carving blocks (brands like Speedy-Cut, Soft Kut, or EZ Cut)

Supplied by OMA, but you may bring your own:

• pencils
• sketch paper
• tracing paper
• fat tip black Sharpie
• Lino cutting tool (handle comes with 5 different blades)
