Artists will work from a combination of 5 to 40 minute poses during this non-instructed session. Live model, table, and chairs are provided. Artists to bring their own drawing materials. Price is $12 for members, $15 for members, payable in cash at the door.

Taste of Art: Matisse And Picasso, Interpreting A Masterpiece
Join Robin Douglas to enjoy drinks and appetizers, a brief presentation and demonstration, then dive into an organic and colorful, geometric and monochromatic painting workshop. You will explore the composition and color of genius artists like Matisse and Picasso, and use their techniques to produce your own masterpiece. All supplies provided.
Lecture: Behind The Scenes Of 20th Century Women Artists
O’Keeffe, Kahlo, Krasner, De Kooning, Frankenthaler, Sherman, Chicago, Butterfield, Holzer, Weems—these women and many more have made great contributions to the art world. Often overshadowed by their male counterparts, learn these female artists’ real stories with Robin Douglas.
Workshop: Color Theory—The Art Of Seeing And Using Color
Seurat, Itten, and Close all used the science of color in their artwork as a new way of transfixing the eye. Robin Douglas will explore color theory and its application with pencil, paint, fiber, and collage. See, mix, and use color to create an exciting visual work. A variety of materials will be supplied.
Private Studio Tour: Cheryl Tall
Cheryl Tall’s work fuses storybook illustration with surrealism and medieval folk art. Influenced by renaissance paintings, Tall’s works portray multiple figures in close proximity, exploring the tensions and strengths inherent in today’s society. Reservations are required as space is limited. OMA members at the Founder’s Circle level and above should RSVP as soon as possible to ensure attendance on this very special private tour.
