Emily St. John Mandel Discussion And Book Signing

As part of the Big Read, the audience at this event at Star Theatre will be transported into Mandel’s novel Station Eleven as she discusses the end of the world, the history of pandemics, and the impact of the plague on Shakespeare’s life and work. Exhibition Reception And Big Read Kickoff

Two-Day Workshop: Painting And Printmaking Of Warhol

Explore the painting and printmaking techniques of Pop Artist  Andy Warhol. From mono printing, photo tinting, photo overpainting, and multiple edition printmaking, unique imagery reflecting contemporary art will be made in this two-day workshop with Robin Douglas. Bring in current event photos or other imagery to enhance and augment. Most other materials will be supplied.

Two-Day Workshop: Golden World Of Gustav Klimt

Klimt was responsible for the Art Nouveau movement and painted the beautiful women and lush countryside of Vienna. Learn his motivations, use his techniques and colorful, glittering palette in this workshop with Robin Douglas to create your own sensuous, luminous painting.
