Experiment with a variety of materials and techniques to create a creative composition. Most materials will be provided but bring in any that will augment your work.

Two-Day Workshop: Watercolor Inside And Out

Water-based paint has been used for hundreds of years to create luminous, mysterious, and colorful realistic and abstract images. Using a variety of techniques and found natural objects as inspiration Robin Douglas will show how to create exploding compositions of what is rarely seen. Bring in your favorite watercolor brushes and paints or use the studio supplies. Different papers will be provided.

Jewelry is the universal form of adornment and is found in every culture. Recreate an original and one of a kind piece of wearable art from old jewelry combined with new materials. Bring in any jewelry making supplies and any pieces of jewelry to construct within this two-day workshop with Robin Douglas. Some supplies will be available and attendees can have a fun swapping among themselves.

Using parts of attractive but discarded books, Robin Douglas will teach how to augment, reassemble, paint, print, collage, and stamp on the sculpture of the book.
