Camarada Concert: Irish Legend & Lore

7:00 concert, 8:15 wine reception

Get lost in the music of Ireland—flute, fiddle, guitar, bass, and percussion combine in traditional Irish tunes with a rock groove.

Once upon a time in the land of Irish Legend & Lore, there were mystical ballades, lively jigs and lush landscapes. Feel the call of the Emerald Isle as Camarada performs traditional Irish tunes with a rock groove. The music ranges from an original Irish ditty by Fred Benedetti to the legendary The Gael – from The Last of the Mohicans. Storyteller Linda Whiteside’s hypnotic way with words will captivate you as she weaves tales of wonder. Don’t be surprised when you find yourself smelling the foggy ocean breeze and a little Guinness wafting through the air. This enchanted evening leads us to the salty shores of Ireland in search of fairy people, gods, and giants. Along the way, we just might get lost in the music and the tales.

Visit www.camarada.org or call (619) 231-3702 for tickets. Email music@camarada.org with questions.
