Grab your brush, paints, and sense of adventure to join local artist Kate Joiner and her friends at the corner of SportFisher Drive and North Pacific Street for a fun and informative introduction to the exciting world of plein air painting. In connection with OMA’s upcoming Plein Air Festival on July 24-31, this no-pressure, group-based painting session will provide the necessary know-how to create your own work of art in the open air. Learn about outdoor painting techniques, recommended art supplies, and a few insider tips to get the best out of your plein air experience.
Limited space is available. Participants must provide their own materials and a recommended supply list will be shared prior to the workshop. Social distancing best practices will be followed and masks that cover both the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times.
