Timelapse Forms

Timelapse Forms brings together a body of work that examines how structure, material, and time intersect to shape perception. Featuring works by David Fobes and Daniel Hicks, the exhibition highlights a shared commitment to geometry, precision, and material exploration, while revealing distinct approaches to form and spatial logic.

Through precise arrangements of industrial and organic materials such as steel, wood, acrylic, and pigment, the works articulate a visual language grounded in structure yet open to movement and transformation. Together, Fobes and Hicks create a dialogue between stillness and motion, control and intuition, part and whole. Timelapse Forms ultimately proposes that time can be experienced through structure itself: held within materials, revealed through repetition, and activated through the viewer’s movement in space.

Formas en el Tiempo reúne un cuerpo de obra que examina cómo la estructura, el material y el tiempo se intersectan para dar forma a la percepción. Con obras de David Fobes y Daniel Hicks, la exposición destaca un compromiso compartido con la geometría, la precisión y la exploración material, al mismo tiempo que revela enfoques distintos sobre la forma y la lógica espacial.

A través de arreglos precisos de materiales industriales y orgánicos como acero, madera, acrílico y pigmento, las obras articulan un lenguaje visual fundamentado en la estructura, pero abierto al movimiento y la transformación.
