2025-26 ARTIST ALLIANCE BIENNIAL
NOVEMBER 22, 2025–MARCH 8, 2026
Juried by Chantel Paul, Patric Stillman, and OMA Director of Exhibitions and Collections Katie Dolgov
OMA is proud to announce the highly anticipated sixth biennial juried Artist Alliance exhibition, a display of the amazing and abundant talent of OMA's artist members. Selections were determined by jurors Chantel Paul (Gallery Director, San Diego State University Art Gallery), Patric Stillman (Founder, The Studio Door Gallery), and Katie Dolgov (Director of Exhibitions and Collections, OMA).
Southern California’s cultural landscape is diverse and growing, which is reflected in the burgeoning talent in this exhibition. This year saw 1,361 submissions by 260 artists and the selected work is a showcase of 53 artworks from 53 of OMA’s Artist Alliance members.
“The OMA Artist Alliance Biennial is a powerful reflection of our vibrant creative community—an opportunity to showcase the depth, diversity, and vision of the artists who make this region such an inspiring place for contemporary art”, shares exhibition juror and Director of Exhibitions and Collections at OMA Katie Dolgov. "The 2025–26 Artist Alliance Biennial provides a special platform for both up-and-coming and established regional artists to share their work with a wide and engaged audience."
Juror Patric Stillman adds, "OMA's Artist Alliance submissions revealed an inspiring range of creative diversity in style, content, and artist experience. It’s exciting to witness the region’s artists pushing boundaries while celebrating their authentic vision. In times of uncertainty and upheaval, artistic expression reminds us who we are and offers the clarity, courage, and connection we need most." As an arts leader, artist LGBTQ+ advocate, and founder of The Studio Door in 2014, Stillman brings together creativity and activism to foster social impact through art.
To round out the jury, Chantel Paul's expertise and keen eye for artistic talent at all levels of their career ensures a remarkable selection of artworks. Her extensive experience includes Gallery Director at Morrison Hotel Gallery in La Jolla, CA, Curator the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, and her current position as the gallery director for the University Art Gallery at San Diego State Univeristy.
