Vet Art: Meaning in Bronze

MEANING IN BRONZE

May 27–October 8, 2017

In partnership with the Veterans Art Project (VetArt), OMA will facilitate positive healing for veterans and the communities they call home through the making, showing, and sharing of art. Specifically, VetArt utilizes the multi-stage process of bronze casting to teach art-making skills, and create opportunities for sharing and storytelling. The results provide a powerful tool for educating the broader community about veterans issues through the dignified presentation of completed artwork, and much more. A number of bronze casting workshops and demonstrations will be held at OMA.
