Featuring over 40 works of art, including oil paintings, watercolors, gouaches, monotypes and original prints, this exhibition will explore the evolution of Gilot’s unique abstract, symbolist style from the early 1960s to her more current work. Also known for her earlier relationship with 20th century icon Pablo Picasso, Gilot resided for many years in La Jolla with her husband, polio vaccine pioneer Dr. Jonas Salk.
