Explore the abstract inner world of the first artist to depict total abstraction, Hilma af Klint. Born in Sweden, her body of work was undiscovered for years but laid the foundation for cutting edge Surrealism, Symbolism, and Mystic Spiritualism. Join Robin Douglas for an immersion into af Klint’s otherworldly depictions of imaginative scientific systems and emotive and analytic mark making while enjoying drinks and appetizers. All supplies for your original artwork will be provided.
Limited space is available. This event will be held onsite at OMA in compliance with CDC, state, and county guidelines. Sanctioned social distancing will be followed and masks that cover both the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times.
