Lead by the Executive Director of Dr. Bronner’s Family Foundation Kris Lin-Bronner, the panel will dive into the meaning and importance of safe space. Hear from panelists Jens Kull (immersive media artist), Fernando Rubio (Professor of Communications at UCSD), and Kathi Anderson (Executive Director, Survivors of Torture International) on the concept of safe space in relation to marginalized groups and virtual spaces, and how creative expression can play a critical role in finding refuge from emotional and physical harm.
