Why does the sale site use auction language? Am I bidding on the artwork?

OMA is using an auction-oriented platform to host this sale, but it is NOT an auction and you will NOT be bidding on artwork. All artwork can be purchased  at $25 plus tax. Once you purchase the artwork, it is yours and cannot be purchased or bid on by anyone else. 


Is the sale entirely virtual?

Yes! The virtual sale of work will start at 6:00pm on Sunday, December 4. Artwork must be paid for via Greater Giving's secure check out system.


What shape and size is the artwork?

The external dimensions of the artwork are an exact 5 inch by 5 inch square. 


Can I preview the artwork before I buy it?

Yes! Go to the sale page here. Click on each item’s photo or title to expand the image and learn more about the artwork. 

Artwork will also be on display in the lobby at OMA leading up to and throughout the sale during regular museum hours: Wednesdays-Saturdays 11:00am-5:00pm, Sundays 11:00am-4:00pm.


Does the artwork have hanging hardware on the back?

Some artworks are framed and/or ready to hang, but not all. Click here to email Katie Dolgov if you have questions about specific artworks.


How do I purchase artwork?

First, you will have to register to use Greater Giving (if you haven't done so before)

  1. Click here for a quick video walking you through the process.
  2. Click the GET STARTED button on the event page or the sale page.
  3. Click the Create Account button at the top of the page.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Check your email for the link to verify your account.
  6. Enter your name, password, contact information, and credit card details.
  7. Click Create and then click the large green gavel icon to view the sale.
  8. (You'll see a lot of auction related language–but this is not an auction! We are using an auction-oriented platform to host this sale. All artwork is available to purchase for $25, there will be no bidding).

Starting at 6:00pm on December 4, you can buy your Teeny Tiny art from home or wherever you are!

  1. Access the sale page by clicking GET STARTED and then login; Or, click on the link in your Welcome Email or Text Message.
  2. Browse the items by scrolling down, or search for items by name or number by using the magnifying glass.
  3. Click on an item to view the details or make a purchase.
  4. Click BUY $25, then SELECT QUANTITY 1 for $25, then finally BUY.
  5. The item is yours! There is no cart, there is no turning back!
  6. Your credit card will be charged at the end of the business day.
  7. To view only artworks that are still available, click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the page (three horizontal lines) and select No Bids.

How many artworks can I purchase?

As many as you like! 


How long is the sale open?

The sale closes at 8:00pm on December 19, 2022.


How do I pay for my items?

Payment must be made directly through our secure checkout page on the Greater Giving platform. You must pre-register your card to purchase artwork. Purchases will be finalized and credit cards will be charged weeknight evenings throughout the duration of the sale.


What type of payment do you accept? 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express via the secure checkout page on the Greater Giving platform.


How do I get the artwork I purchased? 

We encourage you to pick up your artwork from OMA in person. Artwork can be picked up at OMA starting Thursday December 9, during OMA’s regular retail hours: Thursdays-Sundays 11:00am-5:00pm. 

Please be prepared to present the purchase confirmation email or text message, either as a physical print out or showing the email on your phone, to front desk staff.

If you will need the artwork to be shipped to you, after completing your purchase please contact the Museum Store manager, Dana Edwards, at dana@oma-online.org to make shipping arrangements. Shipping fees will vary depending on the number of artworks purchased, starting at $10.

Contact Dana by December 9 to receive your items by Christmas.


Participation Agreement 

By clicking to buy, you have agreed to the sale procedures and have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the item. OMA is not liable for any occurrence resulting from the use of purchased items or services. All sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not allowed.
